The "tec.nicum on tour" series of events in various German cities provides information on current developments in terms of machine safety, standards and regulations. The event organizers had selected a very special location for the seminar, which took place in Speyer in mid-June: the newly modernized conference centre on the premises of the Speyer Technology Museum.
The 34 participants enjoyed a guided tour through the museum. Here, they got an impression of the technological challenges of space with the Russian space shuttle Buran as one of the highlights.
"The seminar topics presented by tec.nicum consultants Siegfried Wolf, Tobias Keller, M.Sc., and Andreas Hof, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), sales representative in the field, were "Significant changes in machines", "Targeted application of ISO 14119" and "Innovations of the Schmersal Group".
As part of the "tec.nicum on tour 2018" seminar series, eleven events with around 200 participants have already been held at various locations this year.
The next seminar (in German) will be held on 5 July 2018 in Landsberg am Lech.
